Next Sermon...please

From the telephone perspective; I've been all up in the 'spiritual' grillz(s) of Dr. Kevin, Elder Nash, Minister Pullum & Minister Alvin Richardson.  Why?  I'm scheduled to preach next week and I was unsure of the Message the Master wanted to speak through me by way of the Holy Ghost.  lol...the Spirit said to them, "...tell Sal to keep it simple and to be prepared."  Ok.  So now I knew to keep simple...but WHAT was I to keep simple?  lol...  Then I remembered this sermon Dr. Lee preached in 1994 at Mount Zion Baptist Church .  The focus of the sermon was 'even though God speaks through others; don't make the common mistake of leaving Him out of any and all issues you may have, great or small'.  Hmmmm.  So I prayed and began to ask God for additional and personal advice and direction for my next sermon.  lol..you’re going to laugh when you hear this.  Less than half way through my prayer, the Spirit slapped me up side my head.  lol... He told me, "I've already given what you asked for but you stopped listening because it was NOT what you wanted to hear.  So you blocked out Dr. Kevin, Elder Nash and Minister Pullum.  So for the 5th time... Sal 'keep it simple'.   Now that you are listening, it's time to seek what you have heard.  Do NOT stop listening as you seek the Messages (plural) I have for those who are in need of Me and you hear My voice coming from them; even if you’re in My pulpit speaking."

WOW!!!  God is so deep.  I see why Jesus kept it short and simple when answering His disciple about what is God like.  " When you see Me you see the Father."

So, based on the audience next week; below is what I'm hearing and seeking via the Holy Ghost.

Philippians 4:8-9 (King James Version)

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.  The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.

Philippians 4:8-9 (Amplified Bible)

8For the rest, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is worthy of reverence and is honorable and seemly, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely and lovable, whatever is kind and winsome and gracious, if there is any virtue and excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think on and weigh and take account of these things [fix your minds on them].
9Practice what you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, and model your way of living on it, and the God of peace (of untroubled, undisturbed well-being) will be with you.

Dr. Kevin, Elder Nash, Minister Pullum & Minister Alvin Richardson. Thank you and please forgive me.  I'm so very sorry, Gentlemen.
